Exercise Physiology & Personal Training

Personal training is an important aspect of maintaining health and wellness. Whether you are just starting out in fitness, wanting to make sure you are exercising correctly, or wanting to boost performance, our personal trainer, Stephanie, can help.

We believe that personal training is not just a matter of lifting the heaviest weights at the gym, but rather a pathway to maintaining a healthy relationship with exercise. We focus on functional movements, scientifically backed methods used by exercise physiologists, and like to approach our exercise programming holistically. In particular, we believe in the power of exercising outdoors for its benefits on mental health.

Stephanie is a personal trainer and exercise therapist who studies exercise physiology. She has conducted extensive research into the science of exercise and firmly believes in the power of exercise for mental and physical health.

Stephanie is an avid athlete; having run 300km from Canberra to Sydney at the age of 20, completing a marathon swim in open water the year before, and trekking to Everest Base Camp and climbing a 6000m peak in Nepal at the ages of 18 and 21 respectively. In 2023, she skied 580km across Greenland over one month.

As a result of her lived experiences, she understands the needs of athletes of all levels and has a particular interest in working with triathletes, climbers, mountaineers and ultra-marathon runners. She also specialises in treating tendinopathies and chronic injuries in all populations - having managed her own chronic tendinopathies over the years to achieve her goals.
