Dr Vivienne Brimelow's passion for chiropractic and neuromuscular rehabilitation is deeply personal. During her chiropractic training, she was involved in a serious cycling accident that left her with two lumbar disc injuries — unable to walk properly, dress herself, or live without debilitating pain. Rather than pursuing surgery, she sought a non-invasive path to recovery, which led her to specialise in spinal decompression and neuromuscular rehabilitation. That experience became the foundation of her practice philosophy and the reason she brings genuine empathy to every patient she sees.
With more than 26 years of experience, Dr Vivienne takes a thorough, individualised approach — tailoring care to each patient rather than applying a fixed method. Consultations are unhurried, giving patients the space to share their full history, goals, and concerns. She is known for offering no-obligation second opinion consultations, both in person and online, for those seeking clarity or alternative options after years on the healthcare merry-go-round.
Her treatment may include spinal decompression, Flexion-Distraction therapy, Neurac rehabilitation, gentle low-force techniques, and movement retraining — guided always by clinical findings, patient comfort, and preference. She also works collaboratively alongside other healthcare providers where appropriate.
Dr Vivienne commonly sees patients with disc injuries, disc bulges, chronic pain, and complex neuromuscular conditions. She also supports those managing long-term spinal health, recovery from injury, and conditions that have not responded well to conventional treatment.
Internationally trained across England, Norway, Sweden, and Australia, and fluent in Farsi and Norwegian, Dr Vivienne brings a global perspective to patient care. Her mission is not simply to reduce pain — it is to help patients reclaim their independence, confidence, and quality of life.
